I love Fuji. I have come here almost every year for my birthday since 2020 and we love to go when my parents come to town to visit as well. It is always delicious and the service is always great. The last time I went here was in October about 2 weeks after I gave birth to my first baby. We mentioned to the server that I had just had a baby when they asked if there was anything we were celebrating and a few minutes later she and the owner came out with this little dessert and congratulated me. It really meant a lot!

Birthday party for a crowd is great here! No reservations, but our group of 14 was not a problem. The food was good, and half of us took home excess portions. The cooking 'show' was fun.

We came here for a special occasion. We ordered the appetizer sampler which is a great choice if you can’t pick just one appetizer. We also ordered a lot of rolls. They were good, it’s hard to say how they compare to other sushi here in town. I would say it’s about average. The presentation was very cool. Also, our waitress was friendly and pleasant. We didn’t get any hibachi during our visit.

Very tasty sushi and good portions. Free salad for everyone. Good price. We got eel, Alaskan, California, and tempera shrimp rolls and beef fried rice.

Had a great date night dinner at Fuji. Great food; the filet minion was so juicy and tender. The chef was funny and enjoyed razzing the little girls dining at our table. It was good entertainment. Our waitress was great as well. Left the restaurant with a to-go box with at least 2 more meals! The manager JD genuinely cares about the customer experience! It’s nice to see a restaurant with goals to treat the customers well and that they want you to come back! My husband loved the sushi roll that JD (the manager) recommended! We will definitely come back again and again! Thanks!

I’m a little bit biased towards this place because 1. It was the place of my first date with my husband and 2. I love sushi. So keep that in mind. I love Fuji Sushi and Hibachi! Food: very tasty! There are many sushi options, every single one I’ve tried has left me satisfied and happy. The portions are great for most (I think the California roll I got was small but that might just be a California roll thing). The crab but I was too stuffed from the meal to get more. The fried rice, salmon, salad, edamame, and desserts I’ve tried are all a solid 9/10 or 10/10. Hibachi: the hibachi is fun, but I give it a 8/10. I feel that the experience highly depends on your assigned chef. Some are super fun and lively, and others are okay. They have all made the food great, but the experience is a roulette. Service: I’ve always had great servers. One server, this last time, didn’t ask if we needed utensils or napkins. I was halfway through my entree when I asked him for a napkin because it got a little messy. The rest of his service was great, though. Atmosphere: pretty good. Never had issues. Something weird: one time I came in, the boss was acting a little weird. And he made two jokes about abusing his staff. I hope it was actually a joke, but the fact that he did it twice makes me worried.

One of our favorite places to go in Idaho Falls! The chefs always put on a good show at the grill. The servers are friendly. The drinks are great and sushi is good. Have had a time or two where the rice was slightly overcooked, but usually the food is spot on! The tempura is tasty too. It gets busy on nights and weekends so suggest to get there early. I recommend Fuji for anyone looking for a good Japanese meal!

We are fans of sushi! This is my favorite sushi place in town. The rolls with eel are my favorite! I got the Black Dragon and Green River. They have different specials through out the month which makes it fun if you like trying new things. My husbands favorite rolls are the yum yum roll (fried roll) and the spider roll.
